I am a native English and Spanish teacher with a BA degree from The University of New Mexico and MA studies in language acquisition from The University of Texas at Austin. I have a CELTA English teaching certificate from Cambridge University and an ELE certificate in Spanish language teaching.

As a student and teacher of languages, I am familiar personally and professionally with the process and challenges of learning languages, reaching proficiency and ease of expression.

I teach English and Spanish online to students who want to learn or improve these languages for a variety of reasons. I teach students who are academics, professionals and executives working in different fields of expertise, among them medicine, pharmacy, technology, international trade and commerce. I teach business English and Spanish to professionals and prepare students for conferences and job interviews. I help students prepare for presentations and examinations. I also enjoy conversation classes with students who need to practice their oral expression or want to learn for fun or travel.

My classes are student-centered and personalized: I create content for my students according to their interests and objectives and structure classes with their specific learning styles and needs in mind. I strive to create an environment where students feel at ease and comfortable expressing themselves as they enjoy their progress, gain fluency and confidence.

I have known Susana during my experience in another English school and I decided to follow her because she is not a simple teacher. I started the English lessons with a lot of desire to develop and master the language.

In my opinion, this English course can change a life. I signed up for it to improve my confidence and speaking skills, and it has exceeded all my expectations. My teacher Susana made a huge difference, she gave me feedback and adapted each lesson according to my needs. 
What was most impressive to me was the patience and encouraging attitude, it made me feel free to take risks, to make mistakes without the risk of criticism. Desde que doy clases con Susana, he notado un cambio muy grande en mi nivel de inglés. I had the privilege of working with Mrs. Lezra last year around March as I prepared for the SAT, and her support made all the difference. Despite the limited time I had to study, she was always exceptionally prepared, bringing a variety of exercises to each lesson and consistently reviewing my mistakes to provide constructive feedback. Mrs. Lezra was incredibly flexible with her schedule, making time for our sessions and always encouraging me, which significantly boosted my confidence going into the SAT.
